As a Data Analyst at S&P Global, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial and non-financial data collection and analysis. Your contributions will support decision-making across global markets, using a mix of real-time research, data processing, and continuous improvement practices.
Accurately extract, validate, and input financial/non-financial data from multiple sources including filings, industry journals, and regulatory documents.
Develop deep knowledge of data workflows, tools, and internal research platforms.
Maintain high accuracy standards; identify and troubleshoot data issues to improve process reliability.
Contribute ideas for product enhancement, new data collection techniques, and automation (LEAN projects).
Achieve personal and team KPIs while mentoring or guiding new team members when required.
Work with internal feedback systems to refine data accuracy procedures and reporting standards.
Education:
Postgraduate / MBA in Finance (Graduation Year: 2024 or 2025)
Skills:
Strong understanding of financial statements and corporate finance
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent research skills (including secondary/thematic research)
Strong written and verbal communication
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Willingness to work in a 24x5 rotational shift environment, including night shifts
