Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Cleaning
Gather data from multiple sources
Identify and fix errors such as duplicates, missing values, and inconsistent formats
Data Preprocessing and Preparation
Transform raw data for analysis using ETL processes
Perform feature engineering
Data Analysis
Use statistical techniques to explore datasets and extract trends and insights
Perform descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and basic regression analysis
Data Visualization
Create charts, graphs, and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau
Report Generation
Assist in preparing reports summarizing key findings, interpretations, and recommendations
Collaboration
Work closely with data analysts, scientists, and team members to understand requirements
Learning and Development
Participate actively in learning opportunities to enhance technical and soft skills
Data Quality Assurance
Help validate and check the reliability and accuracy of the data used
Documentation
Maintain clear records of data processes, methods, and results
Required Skills and Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Math, CS, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Basic understanding of statistical concepts and analysis techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
Basic knowledge of SQL (preferred)
Basic programming skills in Python or R (preferred)
Good communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Eagerness to learn and take initiative
