Key job responsibilities:
Accurately annotate the samples collected to train a device based on the standard operating procedure provided
Understand procedures and guidelines for new annotation requirements
Perform repetitive exercises based on the dynamic instructions without compromising on quality
Use software tools for data capture and comply with the processes of the organization on a daily basis
Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing individual status reports and adhering to Productivity and Quality base lines.
Own their individual targets against the expected delivery
You perform simple annotation and/or data collection tasks related to an Amazon device, application, or service. You execute tasks assigned to you on a daily basis by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and predefined guidelines. You achieve the target quality, productivity and utilization baselines set for your role. You acquire the knowledge related to task execution from peers, on the job training and via content provided by your manager (E.g., SharePoint, wiki etc.). You use internal tools and software related to data collection and annotation. You seek clarification from your peers and/or your manager in the case of uncertain task scenarios or unclear work instructions. You inform your team manager when your work is delayed or blocked due to technical issues and describe the issue clearly. In the event of a problem, you are able to proceed when a workaround is recommended.
You track queries related to annotation/data collection and share them with the relevant stakeholders to help solve them. You track daily task completion status using recommended tools and provide individual status reports. You own the quality of your execution and stay focused on individual result improvement. You adhere to confidentiality & compliance requirements to ensure zero risk to customer data and Amazon. You may participate in data collection activities when provided with scripts and instructions. You help the team test new SOPs and tools. You actively participate in internal cross trainings and knowledge sharing sessions and other trainings required. You contribute to process improvements by suggesting ideas, e.g. process simplification, error reduction and tooling improvement suggestions. You have basic knowledge on ML data labeling process, related tools and software used for ground truth generation. You have understanding of one or more ML data workflows. You may assist in the development of new-hires to help them scale in their role
