Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Data Analyst, you will play a key role in extracting, analyzing, and visualizing
data to provide actionable insights that support business objectives. You will work closely with
cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, develop analytical solutions, and
communicate findings effectively. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
Responsibilities:
1. Data Extraction and Transformation:
- Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including relational
databases and APIs.
- Cleanse and transform raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
2. Data Analysis and Visualization:
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance
metrics and trends.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and insights.
3. Statistical Analysis and Modeling:
- Apply basic statistical techniques to analyze data and derive meaningful conclusions.
- Assist in the development of predictive models using Python libraries such as Pandas,
NumPy, and scikit-learn.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into
analytical solutions.
- Present findings and insights to internal teams in a clear and concise manner.
5. Continuous Learning and Development:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and visualization.
- Actively participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and
domain knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
- Basic programming skills in Python for data analysis and scripting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with API integration and data retrieval.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
- Previous internship or coursework in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Understanding of database concepts and data warehousing principles.
