Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team, specializing in leveraging data insights within the insurance or e-commerce sector. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing complex insurance/e-commerce data to drive actionable insights, optimize operations, and enhance customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping strategic decisions and fostering our growth within the industry.

Responsibilities:

Analyze insurance data, including policy details, claims data, and market trends, to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as underwriting, claims, and product development to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Conduct statistical analyses and A/B testing to enhance website performance and improve the overall customer experience.
Ensure data integrity within our databases and data warehouses, optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
Create and implement data models to support business intelligence initiatives.
Analyze e-commerce data to uncover trends and opportunities for growth and optimization.
Utilize dbt (data build tool) to manage and transform data in our analytics workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

3-4 years of experience in data analysis.
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and visualization.
Experience with data modeling, e-commerce analytics, or working with dbt (data build tool).
Strong understanding of e-commerce and/or insurance metrics and KPIs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience in machine learning and predictive modeling.
Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau.
Familiarity with insurance platforms and analytics tools.
Knowledge of data management practices and database technologies, including experience within the insurance industry.
