About the Job

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Gurgaon

Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for deriving actionable insights from data. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to inform business decisions and strategies, serving as the source of company-wide intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a robust Sales MIS (Management Information System)
• Track and report key company metrics daily
• Calculate sales incentives and teacher payouts
• Analyze large volumes of consumer data related to customers and teachers
• Generate actionable intelligence from diverse data sources

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 1-4 years of experience in a data-intensive role, ideally at a consumer business or a Big 4 firm
• Proficient in SQL; hands-on experience is a plus
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Knowledge of data analytics tools and software such as Python, R, Metabase, and data visualization tools is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional analytical ability

• Strong desire to drive the Business Analytics function within a fast-growing Series A funded startup
• A founder’s mindset, demonstrating the ability to independently manage and shape the business analytics function

Eligibility Criteria:

• Willing to work five days a week from the office (Saturday remote work option)
• Open to working in an early-stage startup environment
• 1-3 years of prior experience in a data-focused role at a consumer internet company or Big 4
• Excellent analytical skills
• Available to relocate to Gurgaon
• Must have their own laptop
