The Opportunity:

As a Data Analyst at Xactly, you will play a key role in supporting our IT team by collaborating closely with the Business Systems Team. You will be involved in business intelligence projects, from requirements gathering to data visualization. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to technical research and development, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards. You will manage all phases of projects, including definition, analysis, design, build, testing, and change management. The Team:

Our IT team is a dynamic, global unit focused on enhancing processes and capabilities. We seek individuals with diverse backgrounds and a passion for problem-solving to help us redefine IT support and solutions. Our goal is to support internal customers and transform their IT experience.

The Skill Set:

• Experience: 5+ years in developing BI solutions using data visualization tools, specifically Tableau.
• Data Analysis: 3+ years of experience with SQL, R, or Python.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a talent for translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Collaboration: Experience in gathering requirements and designing solutions with business users.
• Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and applications (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight, Marketo, Workday) is a plus.
• Customer Service: A customer-oriented approach with prompt attention to support tickets.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Integrity: High degree of personal integrity and professionalism with the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in a constantly changing environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Within One Month, You’ll:

• Build relationships with the Xactly Business Systems team.
• Learn the IT systems used, and how to create, update, and close tickets.
• Familiarize yourself with the development environment, policies, and procedures.
• Get acquainted with existing business systems and analytics.

Within Three Months, You’ll:

• Troubleshoot and resolve data queries and metrics issues.
• Create queries, data views, and reports to address business questions.
• Collaborate with the Business Systems team on project planning and scoping.
• Gain comfort with existing business systems and analytics.

Within Six Months, You’ll:

• Lead requirements gathering meetings and manage project timelines.
• Provide guidance on business intelligence metrics, analytics, and design.
• Build, validate, and publish new reporting dashboards.
• Become an expert in existing business systems, KPIs, and future analytics roadmaps.
