Role Summary:

As a Data Analyst at GTT, you will play a key role in helping both internal and external clients solve complex business problems through insightful data analysis. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure alignment with GTT’s strategic goals. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, guiding data owners in adopting data governance policies, and thrives in a remote-first, inclusive, and entrepreneurial environment.

Job Scope:

In this role, you will work with developers, data architects, and business analysts to ensure data quality and consistency across reporting solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data Interpretation & Reporting: Analyze and interpret data using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Use both structured and unstructured data to solve complex problems and provide actionable insights.
  • Agile Methodology: Follow agile practices for all SDLC phases, including validation of performance metrics, creation of Epics/User Stories/Tasks, and testing.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to prioritize data needs, support requirements gathering, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify trends within data and determine necessary data types for tracking.
  • Data Quality Assessment: Evaluate the quality and meaning of data, and establish best practices for data self-service functionality.
  • Training & Support: Provide Power BI training on reporting tools and data visualization best practices, and support data governance policies.
  • Data Architecture: Collaborate with Data Architects and Data Engineers on implementation designs and data acquisition strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain data lineage and data dictionary.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in building dashboards and data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python for script development, SQL for querying, and knowledge of ETL concepts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative analysis skills using diverse data sources.
  • Business Intelligence: Experience in designing and implementing BI reports and dashboards.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively present information and communicate complex analysis clearly to all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and change, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Mentorship: A mentoring mindset with a willingness to train and engage with less experienced colleagues.

Hours/Travel/Shift:

  • Shift: 5 PM IST to 2:00 AM IST
