The Role: As a Data Analyst, you will contribute to the integrity and comprehensiveness of our data sets by leveraging various research sources, including government documents, stock exchanges, industry journals, and analyst reports. You will support the generation of high-quality content essential for informed decision-making.
The Team:
- Market Data & Estimates: This team delivers critical content on Consensus Estimates, Actuals, and Guidance to aid client decision-making.
- Translations Team: Focuses on accurate and timely data collection from various public research sources.
- Filing & Sourcing (F&S) Team: Sources and provides financial and non-financial data to market intelligence teams, contributing to the overall accuracy and value of our data.
- Fundamentals Team: Maintains comprehensive data sets related to industry fundamentals and corporate structures.
- Transactions Team: Specializes in profiles of Private Equity and Venture Capital firms and tracks public and private investments.
- Corporate & Reference Data: Manages entity-level data, including company profiles and corporate structures.
- Key Developments & Events: Monitors significant news and corporate actions affecting share prices and market movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and enter high-quality financial and non-financial data into designated tools.
- Understand and manage dataset workflows, providing input for collection methods and product enhancements.
- Meet individual and team targets, delivering outcomes with precision and excellence.
- Troubleshoot issues and support team efforts in improving workflows and processes.
- Review and refine procedures to enhance data accuracy and quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- MBA in Finance or a related field with a strong academic record.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, financial statements, and annual reports.
- Proficiency with secondary research sources and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.
- Ability to conduct effective online research.
- Willingness to work in a 24/5 environment on rotational shifts.
