Data Analytics Specialist

About the Role!

You will be helping the global data infrastructure and strategy team by supporting their decision-making through your analytics and helping them in the maintenance and governance of the global customer support data. The ideal candidate for this role should have knowledge of advanced SQL, basic Python skills, strong analytical skills, excellent time management, priority setting, organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek consensus.

What the Candidate Will Do:

• Actively work on resolving the issues highlighted in the data, data tables, and queries
• Work on making changes in various data sources(tables/queries) to accommodate any new launches
• Build and maintain queries, tables, data models, or data pipelines for any global requirement
• Interpret and enhance existing queries/data pipelines and improve the existing system to make the process as efficient as it can be
• Coordinate with various teams and collaborators to seek alignment on the changes required
• Mentor junior resources within the team
• Lead data infrastructure projects for the larger team

Basic Qualifications:

• Advanced SQL
• Sophisticated skills in Excel/Sheets
• Entry-level ability in Python
• Stakeholder Management
• Experience in data modeling or ETL pipeline development is a plus

What the Candidate Will Do :

• Familiarity with any of the following technologies:
• Hive
• Presto
• Spark SQL
• Familiarity with Hadoop data storage concepts
