Introduction
In this role, you will work in one of IBM Consulting’s Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), providing deep technical and industry expertise to a diverse range of public and private sector clients worldwide. These centers deliver localized skills and technical knowledge that drive innovation and adoption of new technologies.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, evaluate, and test big data solutions aligned with client needs.
Create and manage data engineering pipelines and workflows from source to target systems.
Design, build, optimize, and support new and existing data models and ETL processes based on business requirements.
Build, deploy, and manage data infrastructure capable of supporting a rapidly growing data-driven organization.
Coordinate data access and security measures to ensure data scientists and analysts can efficiently access data when required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio graphs for ETL of data from various sources to target systems.
Implement data quality and validation processes within Ab Initio.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate data requirements into effective ETL processes.
Analyze and model data to optimize ETL design and performance.
Utilize Ab Initio components such as Transform Functions, Rollup, Join, Normalize, and others to build scalable, efficient data integration solutions.
Implement best practices for reusable Ab Initio components.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Optimize Ab Initio graphs for performance with minimal resource use.
Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot ETL processes as needed.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, DBAs, and QA to ensure seamless ETL integration.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to improve solution quality.
Document processes and solutions clearly.
