Analyze business needs, system workflows, and data processes to design efficient data engineering solutions.
Participate in feasibility studies, identifying areas for performance and availability improvements.
Collaborate with systems analysts and functional teams to refine software requirements and architecture.
Assist project managers in assessing software capabilities and system specifications.
Develop optimized Python and SQL-based data pipelines and solutions.
Set up, execute, and automate test cases, usage scenarios, and system validations.
Modify scripts to enhance performance, improve compatibility, and resolve bugs.
Recommend and support system upgrades, new installations, and performance tuning.
Prepare detailed documentation, flowcharts, reports, and clean, well-commented code.
Coordinate with development teams for project progress and ensure on-time deliverables.
Provide continuous feedback on serviceability, trace quality issues, and suggest risk mitigations.
Capture detailed client requirements and track clarifications for development accuracy.
Maintain professional communication across emails, reports, and project updates.
Document all major processes from client proposal to implementation in a formal, trackable format.
Ensure timely and courteous resolution of all client requests and issues.
Continuously upskill by participating in training, learning new tools/languages, and sharing knowledge.
Python for data insights and data engineering tasks.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
Understanding of CI/CD, software integration, and deployment workflows.
Ability to debug, analyze, and optimize data processing systems.
Experience working with data-centric applications in cloud or on-prem environments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Data Science (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA preferred)
