About the Role:
As a Data Scientist in the Asset Analytics and Data Science team, you will tackle cutting-edge problems to drive profitability and growth for the bank. You will work closely with stakeholders across risk, business, partnerships, digital, and strategy teams, providing data-driven insights and recommendations. Collaboration with digital product, growth, and marketing teams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Use R, Python, SQL, and other statistical languages to query databases and perform predictive modeling.
- Data Management: Handle large datasets, data warehouses, and utilize relevant programs for data extraction and processing.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical techniques and continuously explore ML algorithms for improved predictions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to leverage data for business solutions, implement models, and monitor outcomes.
- Model Evaluation: Assess new data sources and gathering techniques, develop processes for model performance monitoring.
- Insights and Strategy: Derive actionable insights from data to enhance customer lifetime value, define pricing models, and support product and marketing teams.
- Automation and Reporting: Create automated dashboards and reports using PowerBI to empower product and marketing teams.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Educational Background: BE/B-Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MBA/PGDBM from Tier 1/Tier 2 institutions.
- Professional Experience: 2-4 years in Data Science, preferably within Banking or Financial Services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, with strong statistical analysis skills.
- Strategic and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex business problems and provide strategic thought leadership.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence across the organization.
- Project Management: Strong skills in managing multiple priorities and delivering results.
