Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist at R.K. Bansal Finance Pvt Ltd, you will play a key role in analysing vast amounts of data to derive actionable insights and develop predictive models that enhance our decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data-driven innovation and a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and programming.
Location: Karol Bagh, Delhi, India.
Experience: 6 months 2 years
Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyse large datasets and extract valuable insights.
Develop predictive models to assess credit risk, customer behaviour, and loan performance, enabling more accurate lending decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
Clean, pre-process, and transform raw data to ensure data quality and integrity for analysis.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for efficient data processing and analysis.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data, informing strategic decision-making.
Develop and deploy machine learning models in production environments, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and data visualizations, enabling informed decision-making.
Stay updated on the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and financial technology, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Proven experience working as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a strong track record of applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience using data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
Solid understanding of statistical methods and concepts, with hands-on experience in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and classification techniques.
Experience working with big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, SQL) for data processing and analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex analytical challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in data science and financial technology.
