Position: Data Scientist Intern
Location: Bangalore
Duration: 6-12 months
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Modelling: Analyse large and complex data sets to derive valuable insights. Implement and validate predictive models; create and maintain statistical models with a focus on big data.
2. Natural Language Processing and Prompt Engineering: Work on text analytics and NLP tasks, such as sentiment analysis, topic modelling, named entity recognition, Prompt Engineering with LLM models like Chatgpt, Code Llma etc. to generate actionable insights from textual data.
3. Programming: Write efficient, robust, and reusable code in Python for data processing, analysis, and modelling tasks.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, domain experts, and other data scientists to understand requirements, frame problems, and develop solutions.
5. Reporting: Present findings in a clear and easily understandable format for various stakeholders.
6. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest techniques in machine learning, NLP, and data analytics.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Pursuing or completed a Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
2. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and NLTK/Spacy.
3. Demonstrable expertise in Natural Language Processing.
4. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and concepts.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
3. Previous experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
4. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
