Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer (AWS) to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate should have expertise in AWS services, Windows and Linux administration, Terraform, serverless architecture, Kubernetes, and New Relic.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate the build and deployment of applications.
- Implement AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, FSX, EKS, RDS, and others.
- Manage patching and automate tasks for Windows/Linux servers at scale.
- Build, optimize, and support Microsoft RDS/Terminal Services infrastructures.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance using New Relic, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Automate processes using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Implement security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Continuously improve infrastructure and processes based on evolving business needs and technology trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 4-5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, focusing on AWS services and IaC.
- Expertise in Terraform or similar IaC tools (CloudFormation).
- Strong Windows and Linux administration skills.
- Experience with AWS management, serverless architectures, microservices, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and analytics tools (New Relic, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Deep understanding of cloud-scale architectures and SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on DevOps and cloud computing trends.
