Job Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, serverless architectures, and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus. Experience with New Relic and Kubernetes is a plus. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build and deploy applications in a repetitive and automated manner.
- Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications using New Relic, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of systems.
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or Jenkins.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve infrastructure and processes to adapt to business and technology trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4-5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, focusing on AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Strong understanding of serverless architectures, microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes experience preferred).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, JavaScript).
- Expertise in Linux administration and engineering.
- Deep understanding of cloud-scale architectures and high-performance multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with DevOps and cloud computing trends.
