Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline to support rapid development and deployment.
Implement best practices in DevOps in collaboration with integration and deployment teams.
Lead efforts to migrate to newer tech stacks, reducing technical debt.
Own and optimize DevOps build pipelines for various environments.
Write efficient Python scripts to automate deployment tasks and configurations.
Provide debugging and analytical support to ensure high system availability.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align DevOps processes.
Core Skills and Expertise
Strong experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for containerization and infrastructure automation.
Proven expertise in configuring Kubernetes clusters to manage containerized workloads.
Experience setting up Kubernetes Ingress Rules and service meshes using the Istio framework.
Ability to run both stateless and stateful applications on Kubernetes, with implementation of Health Checks, Secrets, ConfigMaps, user management, and quota/limit settings.
Hands-on experience in Helm – writing Helm charts and deploying applications using Helm.
Skilled in building and deploying Helm charts through Jenkins pipelines.
Ability to orchestrate end-to-end application deployment in Kubernetes environments.
