Overview
Mailercloud is looking for a DevOps Intern to join our engineering team in Kozhikode. As a DevOps Intern, you'll be gaining hands-on experience with key DevOps tools and technologies, assisting in the automation, monitoring, and deployment processes critical to ensuring the scalability and reliability of our products. This is a great opportunity for freshers with relevant DevOps certifications to enhance their skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand the architecture and deployment pipelines of Mailercloud products.
- Assist in setting up and managing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Support the development and enhancement of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate manual tasks like deployments, environment setups, and configuration management.
- Implement monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system uptime and health.
- Help analyze logs and metrics to identify issues or performance bottlenecks.
- Assist in security tasks like patching systems and configuring firewalls.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate product updates seamlessly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Completion of a recognized DevOps certification program (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, Kubernetes Certified Administrator, etc.).

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or Shell).

- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
