Job Summary

Wibmo, a global PayTech company under the PayU and Prosus umbrella, is seeking a Director – Chief of Staff and GTM Strategy. This senior leadership role will report directly to the CEO and serve as a strategic partner in executing critical go-to-market (GTM) plans, driving operational efficiency, and managing high-priority strategic initiatives across product, sales, delivery, and technology.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader with experience in FinTech, payments, or digital banking, who thrives at the intersection of business execution, regulatory alignment, and innovation.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with the CEO to align strategic goals with tactical execution across departments.

  2. Develop and lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for Wibmo’s B2B SaaS and payment security products.

  3. Lead cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Product, Delivery, and Compliance.

  4. Build and run a Project Management Office (PMO) for high-impact initiatives such as digital transformation, product rollout, and compliance implementation.

  5. Design and execute company-wide strategic planning processes, operating plans, and business reviews.

  6. Conduct financial and market analysis, segment research, and customer acquisition strategy design.

  7. Ensure regulatory compliance through proactive communication between leadership and relevant stakeholders.

  8. Implement risk mitigation frameworks for regulatory, technical, and operational bottlenecks.

  9. Collaborate with external partners, regulators, and executive stakeholders to ensure project success.

  10. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs), business outcomes, and adoption metrics.


Skills & Qualifications

  1. 12+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or program management roles, with at least 5+ years in the Payments or FinTech industry.

  2. Proven track record of working with C-level executives, preferably in a fast-paced, regulated industry.

  3. Master’s degree from a Tier-1 Management Institution in Business Administration, Strategy, or similar fields.

  4. Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial and consultative mindset.

  5. Demonstrated success in program management, cross-functional leadership, and change management.

  6. Deep understanding of financial technologies, payment systems, and SaaS platforms.

  7. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  8. Ability to translate complex strategy into clear execution plans with measurable outcomes.

  9. Experience in compliance-heavy industries and comfort working within regulated frameworks.
