Role Overview
Lead and develop a team of talented designers.
Recruit, nurture, and retain top design talent.
Communicate and influence the design vision to key stakeholders effectively.
Build strong partnerships across Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
Solve complex UX design problems across multiple channels.
Collaborate with product owners and managers to identify new product opportunities and validate through user research and testing.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver polished final products.
Promote and reinforce a design-thinking culture leveraging the best product, technology, and talent.
Own various application interfaces and ensure they meet high standards.
Evangelize Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) interface guidelines and design patterns.
Experience and Skills Required
Managed full product lifecycle from concept through release.
Over 10 years of experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams.
Minimum 3 years of management experience.
Strong passion for managing and mentoring designers.
Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and a commitment to continuously improve.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environments while leading process improvements.
Capability to influence others and build consensus despite ambiguity.
Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and ability to balance design quality with tight deadlines.
Experience leveraging analytics, user research, and other approaches to guide product decisions and iterations.
Commitment to staying current with industry trends and developments.
Talent for crafting simple solutions to complex design problems.
Expert proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience working with design systems.
Experience with CRM or enterprise software.
