Job Description:
- Design, develop, and debug new firmware for electronic products and systems.
- Maintain and improve existing designs and source codes.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and firmware.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to develop electronics concepts/jigs for R&D.
- Test and troubleshoot assembled PCBs/devices.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop unit/integration test cases, test programs, and test jigs.
- Work with the quality team to document designs and test cases.
Key Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics with at least 1 year of experience in embedded systems design.
- Proficient in Embedded C programming.
- Experience with Microchip PIC microcontrollers and MPLAB IDE.
- Knowledge of UART, I2C, and SPI protocols.
- Hands-on experience with interfacing various peripherals like LCD displays, keypads, ADCs, timers, interrupts, GPIOs, etc.
- Strong debugging skills for code and circuit-related issues.
- Good knowledge of drawing and verifying hardware schematics.
- Understanding of digital and analogue circuits.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of programming under Linux-based OS is a plus.
- Expert in functional/domain knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent technical communication skills and fluency in English.
