Key Responsibilities:
Curate, catalog, and design high-quality data models for scalable and reliable data access.
Build scalable data processing frameworks used across datasets and business applications.
Enable decision-making using high-quality data engineering and modeling practices.
Work with existing and potential datasets from both engineering and business perspectives.
Deploy data management tools to streamline modeling processes and automate workflows.
Evaluate and integrate new internal and external datasets into business workflows.
Engineer and manage streaming data processing pipelines.
Promote and drive cloud adoption for scalable data warehousing and processing.
Collaborate with data consumers and producers to design adaptable and efficient models.
Technical Requirements:
2–5 years of relevant experience in software/data engineering.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or C#.
Strong understanding and application of domain-driven design in business applications.
Deep knowledge of multidimensional data systems including traceability, performance, and correctness.
Expertise in relational and columnar SQL databases and effective database design.
Familiarity with business data flows and quantitative data models.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
Demonstrated ability to think independently, critically, and commercially.
Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of ownership and urgency.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the financial services industry.
Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem tools such as HDFS and Spark.
