Role Overview:

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at UST, you will lead the QA effort across multiple complex and strategic software development projects. You will be responsible for test planning, execution (manual and automated), reporting, and collaborating with development and stakeholder teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity, and testability.

  2. Define the scope, approach, risks, and assumptions for each test cycle.

  3. Design, develop, and prioritize detailed test cases.

  4. Execute both manual and automated tests.

  5. Document and report test results and defect metrics to stakeholders.

  6. Lead and participate in peer reviews of project deliverables.

  7. Collaborate with development and business stakeholders to align on test requirements and coverage.

  8. Plan, execute, and maintain automated test cases using tools like Postman and JMeter.

  9. Develop and maintain UI test automation using Playwright.

  10. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and monitoring.

  11. Log and track defects using defined tools and processes.

  12. Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure QA best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.


Technical Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in full life cycle software quality assurance.

  2. Strong experience in manual testing of APIs, desktop, and web applications.

  3. Proven ability to lead large-scale QA projects.

  4. Proficiency in Postman for API testing.

  5. Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI test automation.

  6. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test development.

  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  8. Deep understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.

  9. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation.

  10. Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders.

  11. Experience with JMeter or similar tools for automated performance/API testing is preferred.

  12. Experience working in SAFe Agile environments is a bonus.
