Entry Level Software Qa Test Engineer

Job Summary

Medpace is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking full-time Junior Software QA Test Engineers (Validation Engineer) to join our expanding Information Technology (IT) team in our Mumbai office.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and end users throughout the software lifecycle to ensure applications meet user needs.
• Testing: Perform various testing methodologies including manual, exploratory, and automated testing.
• Documentation: Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and other project documentation.
• Peer Review: Participate in constructive peer reviews of test cases.
• Defect Reporting: Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies.
• Requirements Analysis: Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications to ensure 100% test coverage.
• Acceptance Testing: Assist in facilitating the execution of acceptance test scripts by end users.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Experience in writing and executing manual tests for complex software applications. Automated testing experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-departmental teams, including software developers, department leads, and end users.
• Skills:
  • Excellent computer skills and strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a plus.
