What You Will Bring to Tiller
Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and permissions.
Experience monitoring distributed apps on Google Cloud Platform.
Ability to refactor and maintain legacy code.
Reasonable, effective use of AI tools for development.
A reliable work environment and the ability to travel 3–4 times a year to US locations.
A growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
Within 2 Weeks, You Will
Introduce yourself and engage with cross-functional teams.
Familiarize yourself with the product and core codebase.
Understand the roadmap and upcoming opportunities.
Ship your first production project and learn about internal development processes.
Within 3 Months, You Will
Improve the backend by building high-performance, maintainable features.
Participate in empathetic, blameless code reviews.
Gain full visibility into the service architecture and implement 3 health/performance metrics.
Collaborate on at least one feature delivered to customers.
Within 6 Months, You Will
Propose and implement improvements to systems or processes.
Own the full development lifecycle of a new product initiative.
Become a subject matter expert in at least one area of Tiller’s architecture.
