Role Overview
Finastra is seeking an Expert DevOps Engineer to modernize and scale infrastructure for our SaaS-based Retail Banking solutions. The ideal candidate will design CI/CD pipelines, work with Kubernetes, enhance monitoring and security, and mentor team members in DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage highly scalable and fault-tolerant CI/CD pipeline infrastructure.
Implement monitoring and security measures to improve infrastructure and application posture.
Collaborate with development and engineering teams to automate infrastructure and meet long-term needs.
Research, evaluate, and govern application/infrastructure baselines and parallel tools.
Develop internal tools for Kubernetes, Containers, and Service Mesh adoption.
Maintain platform security and observability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Ensure delivery of high-availability, zero-defect code.
Communicate technical solutions and development status clearly and effectively.
Translate user stories into actionable technical tasks.
Technical Requirements
8–10 years of hands-on experience with SaaS/IaaS and DevOps practices.
Experience with tools like Ansible, Bash, Docker, Git, Maven.
Expertise in Linux production environments and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Deep understanding of cluster orchestrators like Kubernetes or Mesos.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Java, or Ruby.
Familiarity with distributed system architecture and microservices.
Operational experience with at least one cloud provider (Azure AKS, AWS EKS, GCP GKE, OpenShift).
Experience with Kubernetes controllers/operators and Docker deployment.
CKA or CKAD certification is a must; AZ-400 is a plus.
Database knowledge: Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
