Job Description: Financial Analyst
As a Financial Analyst, your key responsibilities will be:
Audit standard reports to detect duplicate payments, overpayments, and underpayments for clients.
Reconcile vendor statements with client Accounts Payable data to find unprocessed invoices.
Analyze agreements, invoices, purchase orders, and other documents to uncover missed opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Use audit tools proficiently across internal and client systems.
Identify new claim opportunities for different clients.
Participate actively in knowledge transfer (KT) sessions and contribute to new company initiatives.
Must-Have Skills
Solid knowledge of accounts payable and receivable data, including data interpretation and processing.
Good understanding of Procure to Pay processes and accounting principles.
Ability to identify errors or variances in procurement and payment to recover revenue.
Good-to-Have Skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with data management tools (SQL is a plus).
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate initiative.
Additional Details
Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
Education: Master’s degree in Finance (preferably MCom).
Location: Bangalore.
