Objectives of the Role
Work across the full technology stack to build scalable, distributed solutions.
Contribute to new features and infrastructure based on fast-changing project needs.
Lead small development tasks from design to deployment.
Maintain high code quality and ensure optimal application performance.
Collaborate within agile teams and participate in continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of agile software development — design, development, testing, and deployment.
Build and optimize full stack systems for speed, scale, and reliability.
Work with technologies like Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, JavaScript, Python, Flutter, and Firebase.
Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs.
Communicate effectively across teams via Slack, GitHub, and virtual meetings.
Collaborate with both front-end designers and back-end developers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1+ year of experience in developing large-scale applications (including academic or personal projects).
Hands-on experience with web application development.
Proficiency in Java, Python, or Angular.
Experience with REST API design and integration.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing practices.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering (preferred).
AWS or relevant professional certifications (preferred).
Interest in learning new programming languages and frameworks.
Knowledge of tools like GitHub, Slack, and Firebase.
