Staar Payout is a fast-growing FinTech company operating globally in payment orchestration and real-time financial services. The tech stack includes Django-based microservices, Django Templates for frontend, and scalable REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize Django-based web applications and RESTful microservices.
Build dynamic user interfaces using Django Templates, Vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, and ES6+.
Work with PostgreSQL databases, Celery for task queues, Redis for caching, and AWS infrastructure.
Integrate frontend logic with backend services using AJAX/fetch to ensure smooth interactions.
Improve existing UI features and progressively enhance frontend with modern JS practices.
Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD and secure deployments.
Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical architecture and design decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in Django or similar Python frameworks.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
Experience with Django Template rendering and CSRF-secure development.
Strong understanding of REST API usage, AJAX/fetch, and frontend-backend integration.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery.
Knowledge of web security threats like XSS, CSRF, and IDOR.
Experience using Git, Docker, and basic AWS tools like S3, EC2, and RDS.
Nice to Have:
Experience migrating from jQuery to modern JavaScript frameworks (Alpine.js, Stimulus).
Familiarity with frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier).
Understanding of payment gateways and transactional compliance workflows.
Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and server setup (NGINX, Gunicorn).
