QSC is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to leverage React and Node.js in both embedded and cloud environments, connecting our award-winning Q-SYS platform to the digital world. Q-SYS is a rapidly growing platform featuring cutting-edge audio, video, and control products. Your role will involve creatively using web technologies to build a leading web monitoring and management platform while addressing the unique challenges of real-time distributed embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new software features in a mature enterprise web application.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and Architects to create reliable and extensible customer-facing solutions.
• Mentor fellow engineers in enterprise application software design and the product codebase.
• Work with Software Quality Assurance to devise effective testing strategies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in developing web applications.
• At least 5 years of experience with Node.js.
• Proficient in JavaScript/ES6 and knowledgeable about the Node.js ecosystem.
• Strong expertise in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, React/Redux, and WebSockets.
• Proven ability to deliver product features in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of RESTful design principles and experience in creating and consuming APIs.
• Familiarity with SOLID principles of software design.
• Knowledge of web security fundamentals.
• Experience with version control and CI tools.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of databases and message brokers.
• Familiarity with container technologies and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with Linux command line tools.
• C++ development experience is a bonus.
