Role Overview

  1. As a Functional Quality Engineer, you will work closely with QA managers, development teams, and product stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

  2. This role requires hands-on experience in financial application testing, excellent analytical abilities, and strong understanding of treasury and capital markets.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement effective test strategies based on business and technical requirements.

  2. Create and execute detailed product test plans and report results.

  3. Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and validate software fixes.

  4. Conduct functional, regression, automation, and performance testing.

  5. Act as a quality advocate throughout the SDLC, ensuring consistent adherence to best practices.

  6. Provide production support and quality assurance for client environments.

  7. Communicate project status, risks, and quality insights to stakeholders.

  8. Collaborate with teams to share knowledge and support onboarding of new QA engineers.

  9. Continuously improve quality processes and testing methodologies.

  10. Leverage both manual and automated tools to ensure product stability and compliance.


Technical Requirements

  1. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in financial software QA.

  2. Strong domain expertise in Treasury (FX, Call & Notice, Deposits, Loans), Capital Markets (Fixed Income, Equities), and Derivatives (SWAPS, OTC).

  3. Proven UI testing experience with banking/financial applications.

  4. Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Selenium, Robot Framework, Python.

  5. Understanding of Agile methodologies and test management tools.

  6. Basic technical know-how of messaging systems, databases, and web interfaces.

  7. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.

  8. Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

  9. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and fast learner.

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Capital Markets.
