Purpose of the Role
The GA Analyst (ARC Analyst) is responsible for resolving complex financial issues, delivering finance group reporting services, and ensuring timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analyses. This role emphasizes outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Support larger and more complex entities by understanding the business and economic environment.
Coordinate timely and accurate recording of financial transactions (e.g., ledger entries, journal postings, fixed assets).
Assist in delivering timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analyses in coordination with tax teams and auditors.
Monitor open and overdue items, follow up with relevant teams or individuals.
Validate data and provide meaningful input, ensuring timely submission.
Resolve or escalate complex accounting issues.
Assist in document preparation and adjustments for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
Develop expertise in general ledger and group reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Key Challenges
Proficiency in multiple systems related to accounting, reporting, and taxation.
Collaborating across diverse teams in different time zones and regions.
Building cross-functional relationships with Business, FBT hubs, and connected city teams.
Driving improvements in tools, templates, and reports to enhance efficiency.
Qualification & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (mandatory).
Professional accounting certification preferred (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA).
Experience:
Minimum 5–6 years in general and/or financial accounting.
Required Criteria
Proficiency in English.
Willingness to work across various time zones and shifts, including U.S. hours.
Openness to weekend work, if required by business needs.
