Job Summary
Cognizant is seeking an experienced Infra Dev Specialist to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions. This role involves working with Docker, MongoDB, Python, Github, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and various DevOps tools to support high-performance application environments. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, adaptable, and ready to contribute to both development and support functions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and infrastructure development.
Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and version control with GitHub.
Handle deployments, automation scripts, and container orchestration.
Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and scaling of infrastructure.
Work on development tasks using Java, Python, scripting, and basic UI/DB tools.
Collaborate across teams for integrated and smooth deployment cycles.
Take ownership of issues and provide sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach.
Remain open to working in both development and support environments.
Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Work independently in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and automation tools.
Contribute positively to team discussions and decision-making processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and toolchains.
Comfortable with scripting and automation using Python or Shell.
Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging in distributed systems.
Self-motivated with a proactive, positive, and "can-do" attitude.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
