Position Summary:

The Global Tradeflow Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining global tradeflow data, focusing on plastics and chemicals. This role involves standardizing data from various platforms, ensuring accuracy, cleaning data errors, and updating data output models and dashboards. The Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and produce regular reports on key market insights.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and compile global tradeflow data, primarily focused on plastics and chemicals.
• Standardize data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Clean and correct errors during data entry, maintaining data integrity.
• Manage frequent data updates from third-party sources.
• Maintain and update data output models and dashboards.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on market trends and disruptions.
• Collaborate with commercial and risk management teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data visualization meets the needs of business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Economics, Statistics) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and visualization.
• Basic understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience with databases and data entry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
