Business Group: Client Computing Group (CCG)
Design and develop diagnostic applications for hardware bring-up, mass production testing, and hardware validation.
Create applications ranging from basic hardware access to full-feature enablement and stress testing.
Work across the software stack including firmware, device drivers, APIs, and application layers.
Develop supporting tools and infrastructure for profiling, debugging, and optimizing Intel GPUs and graphics/GPGPU solutions.
Collaborate with hardware, electrical engineering, and validation teams for system-wide software and hardware debugging.
Ensure software is optimized for performance and aligned with hardware design requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field with 4+ years of experience; or
Master’s degree in the above disciplines with 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
Experience in Platform, Firmware, or Device Driver development.
Proven ability in Diagnostics Software Development.
Solid understanding of hardware and software engineering principles.
Familiarity with board-level and chip-level hardware architectures.
Experience working closely with hardware/electrical teams during development and debugging.
Capability to identify and solve system-level issues that span both hardware and software.
Expertise in GPU architecture, GDDR, and PCIe technologies.
Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
Effective cross-functional communication with teams including customers, marketing, and hardware design/validation.
Proven ability to ramp up independently and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Experience working in global cross-functional teams.
