Job Summary
As a Guidewire Developer, you will work on the design, integration, and customization of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter modules. Your expertise will contribute to developing cutting-edge insurance products using technologies like GxModel, XML, and Web Services while supporting agile delivery.
Location: Hyderabad (PAN India applicants welcome)
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent
Experience Required: 3 to 15 years
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize modules in Guidewire (Policy / Billing / Claims).
Load and manage administrative data within the Guidewire platform.
Integrate third-party systems using Web Services, Messaging, and XML.
Implement workflows using tools like Xpressions and Thunderhead.
Modify and optimize billing workflows to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in SCRUM ceremonies.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Guidewire application issues.
Follow best practices for secure, scalable code deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire development (Policy, Billing, or Claims).
Strong understanding of insurance domain, especially Property & Casualty (P&C).
Experience with admin data loading, GxModel, batch jobs, and messaging frameworks.
Strong integration skills using Web Services, XML, and document tools (Thunderhead, Xpressions).
Proficiency in Oracle or SQL Server and strong SQL skills.
Experience with SCRUM Agile methodology; Scrum Master certification is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
