Job Summary

As an Infrastructure Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for strengthening the organization's security posture by deploying and managing Microsoft security solutions. You will operate in a hybrid setup and ensure protection of critical infrastructure and data in compliance with industry standards.


Responsibilities

  1. Implement and manage Microsoft Information Protection to secure sensitive organizational data

  2. Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Identity to detect identity-related threats

  3. Utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for complete endpoint protection

  4. Administer Microsoft MFA for enhanced authentication security

  5. Use Microsoft Defender Antivirus to detect and prevent malware

  6. Manage Microsoft Purview for governance and regulatory compliance

  7. Implement Microsoft Priva for privacy compliance and data protection

  8. Leverage Microsoft Defender Suite for unified security operations

  9. Perform Defender Vulnerability Management to detect and fix infrastructure weaknesses

  10. Configure Always On VPN to enable secure remote access

  11. Set up App Locker to control and restrict unauthorized app execution

  12. Continuously monitor Microsoft Secure Score to optimize security posture

  13. Evaluate Microsoft Compliance Score for ensuring compliance readiness

  14. Manage identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID

  15. Apply Microsoft 365 Security tools to protect cloud-based resources


Qualifications

  1. In-depth experience with Microsoft security technologies and platforms

  2. Strong hands-on skills with Microsoft Defender Suite and related tools

  3. Excellent understanding of data protection policies and compliance regulations

  4. Proficiency in configuring Microsoft Entra ID and identity management systems

  5. Solid knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation methods

  6. Proven ability to improve security posture using Microsoft Secure Score

  7. Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving capability


Certifications Required

  1. Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
