We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer to join our technology team at Cognizant. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-level integration solutions that ensure smooth data flow and automation across business systems. You will be involved in creating scalable APIs and middleware solutions using cutting-edge integration platforms and Java technologies.
Design and develop robust integration solutions using middleware technologies, REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices.
Implement data transformations and mappings between different systems, platforms, and applications.
Utilize enterprise integration patterns to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations.
Develop RESTful APIs and manage their lifecycle, ensuring performance, version control, and security.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services into internal platforms.
Ensure seamless data synchronization across CRM, ERP, HRMS, and cloud platforms with high data quality.
Design and implement ETL processes for data migration, transformation, and loading across systems.
Debug integration-related issues and minimize downtime by providing quick resolutions.
Gather business requirements from stakeholders to build integration solutions that align with organizational needs.
Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to deliver cloud-based integration solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Work closely with QA to validate integration components against performance and security benchmarks.
Establish integration guidelines and maintain detailed technical documentation.
Act as a point of escalation for integration issues and provide post-mortem analysis to prevent recurrences.
Support production environments by monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting integration pipelines.
Proficient in middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, or IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
Strong experience in building and managing RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and microservices.
Hands-on experience with message brokers like JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
Skilled in using ETL tools like Talend or Informatica for data transformation tasks.
Strong database knowledge including SQL and familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Familiar with cloud integration patterns and services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience in API management tools such as Apigee, Kong, or AWS API Gateway.
Proficient in Java and other languages such as Python or JavaScript for integration development.
Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation and deployment.
Proven ability to diagnose integration issues and implement long-term fixes.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Telecom domain experience is an added advantage.
