Job Summary
The Investment Performance Analysis, AVP role focuses on portfolio performance measurement, risk assessment, and attribution analysis. You will collaborate closely with global performance teams, operations, IT, and portfolio managers to ensure accurate reporting and performance analytics.
Key Responsibilities

Performance Analysis & Attribution:
- Evaluate absolute & relative portfolio performance (security selection, asset allocation, currency impact).
- Reconcile portfolio & benchmark performance, identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies.
- Validate and update transaction, position, and pricing data in performance & risk systems.

Data Management & Quality Assurance:
- Extract, validate, and upload data from multiple sources into performance analytics tools.
- Ensure data completeness & accuracy in risk and performance measurement applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional & quantitative issues in reports.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Coordinate with Global Performance Measurement, Risk, Operations, and IT teams to resolve data issues.
- Develop, create, and validate new performance analytical reports.
- Support firm-wide initiatives for centralized performance returns.
- Engage in organization-wide forums, providing insights for process improvement.

Process & Workflow Optimization:
- Maintain & develop a "best practice" workflow environment.
- Work under pressure, especially during quarter-end reporting periods.
- Ensure timely escalation & resolution of key operational issues.
Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certifications:
- Postgraduate (MBA in Finance preferred) from a reputed institute.
- FRM/CFA or any financial industry certification is a plus.
- 11+ years of post-graduation experience (Fresher with exceptional skills may be considered).
- Experience in Performance Measurement is highly desirable.

Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivative instruments.
- Knowledge of Investment Management, Security Analysis, Portfolio Management, Trading & Settlements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Exposure to tools like POINT, Yield Book, FactSet is an advantage.
