Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a focus on Digital Transformation and Data Insights to join our Mumbai team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative organization leading the charge in digital transformation.
Digital Transformation Leadership: Develop and execute digital transformation strategies that align with organizational objectives. Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
Data-Driven Optimization: Implement data-driven strategies for optimizing digital processes across various functions and groups. Use advanced data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT delivery teams, customers, and vendors to understand current systems and desired outcomes. Facilitate collaboration and communication across different functions to ensure successful project execution.
Gap Analysis & Solution Design: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in existing and proposed solutions. Propose and implement effective solutions for identified gaps.
Project Lifecycle Management: Engage in all stages of the project lifecycle, including strategy, design, implementation, evaluation, and delivery. Focus on B2B commerce, CRM, and systems related to Order to Cash processes.
Global Collaboration: Partner with global IT and local IT teams to deploy projects across India and South Asia. Manage the rollout of global initiatives effectively.
Process Improvement: Perform gap analysis and propose solutions for new requests. Ensure high-quality progress and delivery in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Integration & Services: Understanding of SOAP and REST services, including XML and JSON formats. Experience in designing and implementing enterprise integration between systems like e-commerce platforms, Data Lakes, SAP, E1, SFDC, etc.
Cloud & API Management: Experience with cloud integration, API management, workflow automation, and analytics integration is advantageous.
Data Analysis & Visualization: Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and process mapping. Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Miro, MS-Visio, and project management tools like Jira.
Digital Platforms: Knowledge of digital platforms, including cloud computing, e-marketplace (SAP Ariba, Coupa), mobile apps, and artificial intelligence.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or an MBA in Business and Technology Management.
Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in digital and data projects, with a strong understanding of business operations and key performance indicators.
Certifications: Agile certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), is preferred.
Skills: Critical thinking skills to align digital and data initiatives with organizational goals. Proven track record in managing and delivering successful digital transformation projects.
