Role Overview:
Join Dell Technologies as a Principal Software Engineer – IT to build and enhance internal tools for information security. You'll collaborate with global security and IT teams to implement automated vulnerability remediation, using technologies like Java, Python, SCCM, AWS, and more. This role is pivotal in strengthening Dell’s cyber defense posture while working in a dynamic and fast-paced development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance internal tools for vulnerability remediation using Java, Python, and infrastructure tools.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to devise effective remediation strategies.
Design and implement solutions to orchestrate vulnerability fixes across systems.
Contribute to the evaluation and deployment of new software tools and technologies.
Maintain secure development practices throughout the software lifecycle.
Technical Requirements:
Strong experience with Java, Angular, React.js, and Spring Boot frameworks.
Expertise in scripting (Linux Shell, Python, PowerShell).
Proficiency in SQL query optimization and data manipulation.
Skilled in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
Experience developing responsive Web UI applications.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to cybersecurity concepts: Pen testing, application security, CVEs, CVSS scoring.
Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as SCCM, Tenable, and AWS.
Ability to design secure applications with a strong grasp of vulnerability classifications.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
