Technical Skills and Experience
Have 6 to 8 years of professional experience in Java and enterprise application development
Develop microservices and cloud-native applications using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA (or any ORM), and Spring Security
Write unit tests using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and JBehave
Build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins as part of a CI/CD pipeline
Possess hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Have mandatory GCP knowledge for offshore delivery roles
Work with relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL
Soft Skills and Personal Attributes
Design, develop, and implement custom software and database solutions with minimal supervision
Communicate effectively during design discussions and maintain productive working relationships
Support team members and contribute with a collaborative, solution-oriented attitude
Show ownership and accountability for assigned modules and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of an engineering team to develop scalable, high-performance code
Ensure quality through unit testing, code reviews, and leading testing efforts
Optimize code and systems for non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability
Build and deploy application components using modern CI/CD practices
Deliver end-to-end application lifecycle including coordination for production deployments
Monitor application health and KPIs, and resolve production issues efficiently
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for complex technical issues
Advocate for and implement security best practices in application development
