Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong proficiency in IoT and Big Data technologies (Hadoop). The ideal candidate should have a robust background in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud environments like AWS or Azure. The role involves building scalable microservices and integrating various systems including IoT data pipelines and enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST and SOAP Web Services and Microservices using Java and Spring Framework.
Work on IoT applications integrating real-time data from devices with backend systems.
Use and configure Java Application Servers such as Tomcat, JBOSS, or WebSphere.
Work with Relational Databases like Oracle, MySQL, or Informix for data processing and storage.
Integrate with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, WMQ, or Active MQ.
Leverage Hadoop or Big Data ecosystems to process IoT data at scale.
Apply modern testing frameworks including JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium.
Build and maintain API services using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
Implement applications on cloud platforms (minimum 1-year experience in Azure or AWS).
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automated deployment practices.
Write optimized, clean code with strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and product managers to deliver quality features.
Qualifications
Strong experience in Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
Good knowledge of IoT integration workflows and real-time systems.
Experience with Hadoop ecosystems for Big Data handling.
Familiarity with enterprise messaging systems and streaming data pipelines.
Hands-on with cloud services on Azure or AWS.
Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using industry-standard tools.
Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and modern SDLC processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
