Job Summary
Cognizant is hiring an experienced and dynamic Technical Lead with 5 to 12 years of experience in Java 11/8, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and AWS. Experience in the Commercial Lending domain is a plus. The role will focus on leading technical teams and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex applications using Java 11, Java 8, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Integrate and optimize AWS cloud services for enhanced performance and scalability.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams to promote best coding practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes and deliver features effectively.
Ensure the high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify performance bottlenecks and resolve bugs to maintain application quality.
Conduct code reviews to uphold high standards and consistency across the team.
Design and maintain a robust microservices architecture to meet business needs.
Implement necessary security and data protection features.
Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine technical requirements.
Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
Keep management informed of project status, risks, and potential roadblocks.
Promote continuous improvement in the development process and team productivity.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Java 11 and Java 8.
Deep expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
Proven track record of working with AWS and cloud-native development.
Solid experience in building and maintaining microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Exposure to the Commercial Lending domain (preferred but not mandatory).
Knowledge of software development best practices and patterns.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Strong leadership, project management, and mentorship experience.
