Key Responsibilities
Design and develop robust web services (REST and SOAP) and microservices using Java and Spring Framework.
Deploy applications using Java Application Servers such as Tomcat, JBOSS, Jetty, TOME, or WAS.
Work with relational databases including Oracle, Informix, and MySQL to manage and optimize data storage and queries.
Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Active MQ, or WMQ to ensure real-time data exchange and scalability.
Perform automated testing using tools like JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium to ensure application reliability.
Utilize and implement web service APIs using formats such as REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
Apply strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms in application development.
Use cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS with at least one year of hands-on experience in deployment and management.
Work within CI/CD pipelines and participate in modern DevOps workflows for automated deployments and monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong programming background in Java, Spring Boot, and J2EE technologies.
Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and enterprise web services.
Familiarity with Java application servers (Tomcat, JBOSS, Jetty, etc.).
Experience in handling relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, or Informix.
Proficiency in integrating messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, WMQ).
Competency in testing with JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium.
Sound understanding of XML, JSON, and related web services architecture.
Minimum one year of experience working with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Exposure to CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
Strong problem-solving ability and clear communication skills.
