Key Responsibilities
Design and implement robust test strategies in collaboration with cross-functional development teams.
Develop, run, and maintain automated test scripts using Java to boost testing efficiency.
Identify, report, and drive resolution of software defects across the development lifecycle.
Perform end-to-end API automation using tools like Rest Assured and Postman.
Participate in code reviews and ensure testability and high quality of deliverables.
Execute test plans, monitor progress, and provide actionable insights.
Apply Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) principles to optimize frameworks.
Use Appium for mobile automation testing across devices and platforms.
Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a quality-focused culture.
Stay current with emerging QA tools, trends, and testing methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
4–10 years of experience in Java-based automation testing, including Selenium and API testing.
Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Appium, and Rest Assured.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD tools, and defect tracking systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in program/project coordination is a bonus.
