Role Description

This is a full-time Jr. Business Analyst role, working onsite at our Miami, FL location. The primary responsibility is to serve as a business/functional/application consultant on client/internal projects, supporting the development of business processes, requirements, and the configuration and testing of applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide business and technical deliverables for client and internal software development and implementation projects.
  • Assist in the business of drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
  • Offer application support for Drug Safety systems, including expertise in:
    • Business Process (SOP) development
    • Requirements gathering and documentation
    • Authoring wireframes and use cases
    • Application configuration and functional testing (OQ/PQ)
    • Issue resolution
    • Conducting workshops and pilots
    • Data migration/mapping
    • System testing and validation
  • Accountable for creating specific application deliverables such as Requirements Specifications Documents, Configuration Specifications Documents, Test Scripts, etc.
  • Consult on multiple implementations simultaneously.
  • Act as a business advisor to the project team, contributing to group and individual goals by transferring knowledge and providing timely feedback to both the company and the customer.
  • Engage in internal practice development projects to grow the company's assets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS with an emphasis on engineering or science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Information Systems.
  • SDLC experience.
  • Ability to create Requirements, Use Cases, Configuration, and Testing documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Process design experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in software application testing/validation.
  • SQL experience.
  • Familiarity with current technologies and platforms, including project management tools and database applications.
  • MBA/MS.

Travel Expectations:

  • 25-50%
  • No Remote Work – Fully On-Site.
