Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Associate – QA with 2 to 4 years of experience in manual and automation testing of web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities:
Execute both manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications
Understand and implement core testing methodologies (SDLC, STLC, Defect Life Cycle)
Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory test cases
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing for hybrid and native apps
Utilize tools like JIRA, TestRail, TestLink, Redmine, and Quality Centre for test management
Test REST APIs and web services using tools and scripting methods
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and client teams to ensure quality delivery
Maintain test documentation and communicate bugs and issues effectively
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning and Daily Stand-ups
Develop basic test automation scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriverIO
Write and execute complex database queries for backend validation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
2–4 years of hands-on software testing experience
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes
Proficiency in testing both web applications and mobile apps (native and hybrid)
Practical experience in test case creation, execution, and bug tracking
Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, Redmine, or similar QA tools
Strong skills in manual testing, along with exposure to automated frameworks
Knowledge of Java or JavaScript programming languages
Ability to test APIs/web services manually and through tools like Postman or Rest Assured
Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Good to Have:
Internship or hands-on project experience in Java or JavaScript development
Experience in API automation using Rest Assured
Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter
