Job Description:
As a Junior Data Analyst / Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring and optimization of machine learning (ML) models in a DevOps environment. This involves overseeing the performance of ML models, ensuring their efficiency and accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to make improvements. Key responsibilities include:
- Continuous Monitoring: Track real-time performance of ML models, focusing on key metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and other relevant indicators.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets generated by ML models to detect patterns, trends, anomalies, and model drift, providing insights for optimization.
- Feedback Loop: Provide actionable feedback to data scientists and engineers based on model performance, identifying opportunities for adjustments and improvements.
- Model Tuning & Optimization: Collaborate with teams to fine-tune ML models by adjusting hyperparameters, incorporating new data, and retraining models to enhance performance.
- Anomaly Detection: Proactively identify and address performance degradation, data drift, or bias in model outputs, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and operational teams, ensuring smooth communication to implement model enhancements.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in building production-quality software and optimizing ML models.
- Proficiency in Python with basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
- Exposure to Linux systems, server management, and databases.
- Familiarity with monitoring and maintaining ML systems using open-source tools.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, software testing, and benchmarking.
- Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and expand knowledge in machine learning methodologies.
